Nurse Practitioner Exams

NP exams vary based on the specialty of practice for which you are applying. Each exam provider has its own process. The first step is always to contact to let us know which exam you wish to take. You will also need to send two pieces of government-issued identification to the SRNA one of which includes your photograph.

Before you apply to write an NP Exam

Please ensure you meet one of the following requirements:

You hold RN registration with SRNA and have completed an approved nurse practitioner education program in Saskatchewan, and you have completed a recognized Canadian nurse practitioner program


You have completed an NP program outside of Canada and the Registrar has approved your application for NP registration.
